How Long Before Backlinks Show Up?

Hello everyone!

I'm new to this forum and recently started working John's (xFactor) plan for adsense.

I was wondering how long it usually takes you guys, using John's system, to start actually seeing backlinks to your sites show up in google?

I have written many articles and put up a few blog posts to see what would happen. I know the articles and blogs are indexed, but I don't see the backlinks coming back from them yet. Just wondering what everyone's experience is with that.

Hi FlyinPianoMan,

The only place you are likely to see those backlinks showing up in Google, is in your webmaster tools account after you have verified your website. That data seems to be about a week or two delayed.

Hi,
Yes can i ask you where you are looking for your backlinks ?? If your looking at yahoo site ex you could be waiting a very long time i do not know the ins and outs of it and what i do know is to vage to write here but.. Just because yahoo site ex is not showing your backlinks does not mean that goolge hasn`t found them.
I`m just guessing your looking at yahoo site ex or something like it so dont worry google will find them.

I'm using Market Samurai to track this information. I just checked WMT and they are not showing up there yet either.

How long have they been indexed?

you can also look in sitexplorer for yahoo as they seem to show the links quicker

it could take a day to a month.... maybe a year. Too many factors to give you a real accurate answer.

market samurai uses free tools

the tool used to check backlinks is the yahoo site explorer

which as said before is outdated, so dont worry google already put those backlinks on their database.

Not all backlinks will show up in Google, for some reason they don't like to share all the info they keep about a site.

Don't worry about when your links will show up. Just keep building new links and building new sites. In other words, avoid the disease of paralytic statitis.
