How do you build thousands of good links?

Hi Guys,

I am searching for a fast way to build thousands of good links (not crap ones)

I tried all the services that provide you with monthly packages (angela etc...) it's too slow for what I need.

Know of any service that provide masses of QUALITY backlinks?

Too many links too fast could get you slapped by Google. They monitor that kind of thing. Slow and easy wins the race...

Fresh and engaging content on your site and within your site's blog will generate the most high-quality backlinks, in my experience.

As EaglePiServ mentioned, Google will assume your site is "up to no good" if you collect too many links too quickly.

Link-building through targeted press release campaigns are also usually pretty effective.

Other ideas -- have you tried contacting similar, complementary businesses to swap links or submitting your site to human-edited directories?

There is no such thing.

If you want good links it takes time. The advantage though is that you only need a few good links to really see jumps in rankings.

Most of the methods out there are "ok" for building links, but if you're in a competitive niche, it will take a few different strategies to get rankings.

How to get links? Now i submit my articles at ezinearticles and and many other article submit pages like digg, but i am sure there are another ways for example pay somebody or buy a software, i just don't know any other way. I even don't know any submitting software.

Hi,

If you want lots of links and you don't want to do it the slow old fashioned way then:

"Why not give something away, in exchange for a link back"

We do if for peoples email addresses, why not for links.

It could be any product or service that you create or buy the rights to.

You could also provide a service that people on the web need in exchange for a link to whatever site you wish to promote.

I know I'm being vague here, but I will clarify with an example soon.

I would suggest you find a niche (does not have to be related to your websites topic), and find out what they want and help to solves.

Here's an example:

There are thousands, if not millions of frustrated programmers out there. Each one has written numerous applications but does not have a clue on how to promote it.
So they start down the path that every budding programmer goes down (I did this too when I started ). You turn the software into a shareware app, and look to distribute it on the web and hope to make a killing.

The first place these people go is to software directories to submit their software.

Now.. Imagine you own a software directory.
You will let them add their software to your directory for FREE, in exchange for them giving you a one way link form their website to any site that you onw. (You make them link to any site you want, as long as they give you a link).

I use this technique myself. I own 3 directories, and these budding programmers help make content for me as well as providing an almost endless supply of one-way links.

I get anywhere between 50-150 back links to my sites everyday.

I don't do anything for these links except have these 3 directories.

I have a rotational script so that links are diverted to whcihever site I wish to promote at the moment..

Talk about link building the easy way.

They are all 1-way links and from 1000's of different IP addresses.

So think about giving something away for free in exchange. Its a very powerfull link building tool, and much less effort that writing and submitting 100's of articles

How much does one expect to pay for such a beastie?

1,000's in the thread title indicates multiple 1k's so lets take the literal min. query at 2,000 "quality backlinks" as the presumed # sought.

1 backlink sitting on a solid PR5 PAGE could be brokered for approx $45 a month on the very low side. So shall we extrapolate from there?

$90k a month?

If you want good link and also fast then its not possible because if you need quality links then its need time.

But if you need only thousand of link in less time then lots of services available on the net. Search and pick the best one.

But 1 thing i need to suggest please avoid the bulk link work because its never give you any benefit its only harm you.

So best part to get links is make more and more content pages on your site and blog and pass link from that.

Try Easy Push Button Traffic or Traffic Geyser. Easy Push Button Traffic is cheaper and more "white hat" while Traffic Geyser is a little more spendy and is considered more "black hat". I went with Easy Push Button Traffic and like it.

I'm going to have to find a few more rapid growth sites to use as an example.

One thing to look for are newer sites that have gone viral on Twitter, Digg and StumbleUpon and/or that have gotten links from news organizations or news aggregators like Drudge Report. These sites will get a huge number of links very quickly often along with server crushing traffic for a brief period.

Another method, often used by certain 'lifestyle enhancement' and 'entertainment' providers, is to use automated software to spam the link across 1000's of different domains that have left themselves open to it. You might be surprised at how many sites, including well known authority sites, leave the door open to this exploitation. These usually aren't as long lived as the viral sites because webmasters will usually delete the links.

The main 2 lessons of these sites are getting links from authority sites and getting links from diverse IP addresses. If you get 10000 links overnight from 10000 newly created autogenerated Blogger blogs and YACG sites, yes, you may very well get some kind of filter or penalty applied and a manual review by the Google web spam team. But, if you get 10000 links overnight from 1000's of different IP addresses that include links from authority sites and a diverse number of other types of sites you'll be in great shape in search results for quite some time.

This argument always amuses me. I have seen many instances of sites that got massive amounts of links in a short time, and every time this subject comes up there is always alot of people that tell you it can't or shouldn't be done.

Never the less, it can be done, and it is done every day of the week. And a lot of sites have done very well by it. The Drudge Report, and There I fixed It are just two that did it and did it well.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to answer your question on how you can do it. Go talk to Metafever over in the WSO forum as he is running an offer to do just that. Here is the link.

Not sure what your point is. The Drudge Report broke that story and got massive amount of links for doing it. And thus they became famous.

But that is only one of the two sites that I mentioned. And as I said, there are plenty of more sites like that. The bottom line is that they got massive amount of links and lots of people clicked those links and obviously liked what they saw. Without those links, no one to speak of would have ever heard of them.

You can not control what other web sites do, and Google and the other search engines will not penalize you for something that another web site does. There are a lot of real savy people at Google, and they know that you can't control what other webmasters do.

Just that Google wasn't really around at that point. The most used search engines in early 1998 were Alta Vista, Yahoo, Excite and HotBot. Google began to catch on about the end of 1998 and gained ground in 1999 as the other search engines began pursuing the portal model and other dotcom boom dreams while Google kept it simple.

It's easy to forget how things were back then. In 2019 we will probably be laughing about how silly we were trying to get links in 2009 and what strategies we can use to fool the new Google AI indexing system.

Building thousands of good links over a period of time is very good for seo. But it is the hardest thing to do. You should try link exchanges or some other link deals in order to get thousands of related backlinks.

Alright, i might sound like a noob here..but sponsoring famous wordpress themes can get you good amount of backlinks in not much time. Getting Quality and relevant backlinks faster might be a hard task, but if its done, its worth it

The problem with using the Drudge Report as an example is you are talking about google when it was in it's infancy... how many times since 1998 has google changed and adjusted their algorithm. That data is obsolete and more or less useless today.

I am not sure how many people noticed this, but I never mentioned Google. I wasn't talking about them. I was talking about how Drudge got famous. It really had nothing to do with Google. Google is using the information that is out there on the web and evaluating it. This is not dependent on Google and or their alogrithm. If their alogrithm doesn't evaluate the informatioin correctly, then they will lose their lead in the market. They have to be tayloring their algorithm to read the market correctly, and the market is partly made up of those links that made Drudge famous.

But, There I Fixed It has only been around for a few months. Why not try to use that one to tell me that my theory is wrong?

I'm not arguing if you can add links too fast or not... I have no idea what the correct answer is.

It was stated or implied that The Drudge Report became famous over night for breaking a news story and gained a mass amount of backlinks in a short time because of it.

Is this even accurate? I know it's used as an example on a certain WSO as a sales pitch but was someone at the time keeping track of the number of backlinks The Drudge Report had before and after or is this just an assumption or false claim made by someone trying to prove a point and make a buck?

This news event also happened over ten years ago. Search engines have evolved a long way since then. In 1998 I could reach a high ranking by keyword spamming the same words 1000 times on a page.

I'm just saying, anytime this Drudge Report example comes up, it's garbage and irrelevant by todays SEO standards.

Exactly!

In fact... it is NOT natural for Google, or whoever else, if a site has only PR4 links pointing to it for example.

That's just a pretty footprint you are leaving there...

It may work short-term, but a good SEO mindset is having a mix of links from everywhere and from all kinds of PR...

and I couldn't agree more...

Quality content or a cool helpful tool will build your backlinks better than most things out there
