Default RSS feed exposure

I came across a thread reply that stated "get your RSS feeds out there". How does one go about doing this?

Are there RSS submission directories or something else that I'm missing?

Thanks gals and guys
Mike.

There are lots of RSS feed aggregators. Like search engines for feeds. Search Google for that term. My favorite for getting things indexed is feedage.com. Google loves them!

Step #1. Build a dedicated webpage for your RSS feed.

if you have a set of links you can use the online rss feed creators to add your own links to a channel and submit that channel to the directories... ie.. your web profile links

icerocket offer a free service... and its very good

I was using IceRocket for profile links, but it was a little labor intensive. I have been experimenting with using Feedage's bulk html2rss facility and then dumping those individual feed URLS into RSSMix.

Feedage Bulk html2rss: Feedage.com - Bulk Convert HTML 2 RSS

RSSMix: RSS Mix - Mix any number of RSS feeds into one unique new feed!

Cool guys thanks, I know what RSS feeds are and how beneficial they are. I just wasn't sure about the exposure part.

I have started using LinkBunch - Put multiple links into one - http://linkbun.ch. This lets you shorten up to 100 links into one short url. I then put this into icerocket and then feedburner. suddently your RSS feed has one link which if BIG G crawls should lead onto 100's of links. These 100's of links are usually my link wheels, social bookmarks, profile pages etc. Just started so can really give you definitive results yet but in theory should work. Would appreciate anyones comments on this.

I don't think Feedburner is an RSS Aggregator. I think they are a Feed creation/tracking/management/enhancement service.
