I'm trying to use Google Adwords image ads on their content network but I'm really getting frustrated. It's been nearly two weeks and the ads that I submitted are still "Pending Review". Is this typical? Is there anything I can do to speed things up. I don't see how it is feasible to run tests on different ads if it takes so long to have the ads appear online. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Jim |

The only thing you can do to speed things up is to email them about it. They'll have to responde to you and if your ads are within their rules...you're good to go. Andy. |

I don't won't to make things worse (if this doesn't work lol) but I noticed some of my ads that I submitted later were getting reviewed before the ones I submitted the day before. I thought something must have went wrong so I change the destination URL (causes the ad to be re-queued) and the approval went through pretty quick. Maybe test that with 1 of your ads to see if you are stuck in the queue of a slack team hehe. If not - it might make the wait even longer!

I've just searched the issue - using... Google - and on multiple blogs and forums, including their OWN, I see people have been complaining about this since JULY - and that goes for text ads as well as images. WTF? I never expected this issue. PPC is (WAS) great for its quickness and flexibility. What's the point of waiting weeks for approval? People also complain on the lack of customer support. Are they that dumb or doing it on purpose? I thought adwords were their greatest revenue stream. Can we place imabge ads on Yahoo and Bing? P.S. This SUCKS! |

Well if you been reading the forums and blogs, then you understand, that since Google got the big smack down by the FTC, they're not taking any chances. So yes they will make you wait until you prove to them that what your promoting is going to be good for their searchers. Yeah I can admit, their customer support is not the best, but they certainly aren't dumb. For a company that banks 8 Figures a day from their advertisers, I'd say they're pretty damn smart. They simply just don't have the time to spend with each individual advertiser, and listen to their issues. And they could probably care less if they lose your business, because they have millions of other advertisers who are willing to pay for their service. So you can continue wine and complain about it, or suck it up and play by their rules. |

Just like the DMV Google is so big now they are run like a Government, and unfortunately if you want your "license" to use their services you have to wait. This won't change until some real competition comes into the market place. The Microsoft/Yahoo thing can't happen fast enough. But if it dies, then what? Google is in a very good position. |

this is what happens..google has a computer review system and if any of your website content, ad content or url content has keywords in it that raises a red flag and then you need to wait for human review. I usually get reviewed quicker by just emailing someone at google and making them aware of this review period. I know it can be frustrating... |

Anyone else have any feedback on this? I too am struggling with this long review process. It used to be virtually instant. Are they really cracking down?
