So i just wrote my very first article and submitted it to EZ. I got on today and googled searched it and found it on the second page of google search. I was just wondering what could i do to boost it up to the 1st page. I have heard of things such as backlinks but i'm not 100% certain what those are. Any help would be appreciated. If you would like to view the article type "learn guitar songs" in on google and its the 3rd one down from EZ. Bear in mind its my first article so its bound to have newbie mistakes. |

Create backlinks to your article from various sources like hubs, socialmarker, sqidoo, twitter, facebook etc. Promote the article for this keyword and other similar keywords. Place your keyword into google keyword tool, whatever results you get sorted by relevancy this are yor supportive keywords to use to promote this article. Hope that helps. |

The main focus should be improve the ranking of your site. Yes, you may improve the ranking of your article to #1, however, rank the article is NOT our purpose. The traffic to your article <> the traffic to your site. Depends on your article, the click through rate varies a lot (BTW, 10% click through rate, IMHO, is high already). good luck david |

Hi leetpete, Keep in mind that articles serve us dual purposes. First to get rank in SERP and Second to give our site link juice. Also, if your article solves your prospect problem, they won't even bother to click on bio box. Hope this help. |

| Link juice is what your site gains from the link to your site.. ie... you get a slight portion of the rank of the site if the link is a 'follow' link. That's why you gain better rankings from higher pr sites. On the article.. bookmark the article (with the likes of propeller and digg) then book mark the bookmarks... submit it's rss feed... then create some profile links and bookmark them.... and bookmark the bookmarks |

That must be boost up your site not in your article. A genuine story will be helpful to be more competitive in the market.
