how the backlinks stratgey works?

i just was woundering about creating backlinks to my site , to get the most benifet from backlinks , do i need to get traffic fom the backlinks , or just i need to put my site link on high rank site? i mean is it ok to put just my URL in high rank site ,?

create a variety of backlinks.. you can get links from blogs / profile links etc.. but also look at getting links from sites such as digg / stumble upon.. if can you can also find high ranking keywords for article in your niche and create some article targeting similar keywords.. the same with youtube and videos..

But yeah the high the rank of the sites your putting links on the better... you want to check some of the link wso's being offered.. like terry kyles package..

you can get more traffic if you have more back links.. but it is important that you create back links from quality site (like one with high PR or related to you site's topic).. low-ranked PR tend to pull sites down, they say..

Some backlinks are much more valuable than others. If you have a backlink on a web page that is extremely relevant to yours, and that page receives a lot of highly targeted traffic, it could be worth more than a thousand FFA backlinks. A link like that tends to generate a steady flow of organic backlinks as well as traffic, all without any dependence on search engines rankings.

I must not understand what you are asking, why not reword your question and clarify what specific answer you are looking for.

When you ask: " i need to put my site link on high rank site? i mean is it ok to put just my URL in high rank site ,?", you should first understand that search engines do not rank websites, they rank web pages. So your question is based on an invalid premise.

It also appears that you may be asking if all backlinks are of equal value, and the answer is absolutely not. If you are asking which is better that has already been answered.

Some people think all backlinks have value, many of those same folks tend to have 1000's of FFA backlinks and still struggle to get ranked well. Yes having 1000's of FFA backlinks is better than having no backlinks, but not much better.

If you are asking if it is okay to have just your URL as the anchor text of your backlink, yes it is "okay" but not very helpful if you want to rank for anything other than your URL. Using your targeted keyword as the anchor text is essential if you are trying to influence how your page ranks for that keyword.

If multiple people are responding and not able to understand the question it's probably a good idea to re-word the question.

What I think you're asking is, will a backlink only count if you get traffic from it. If that's what you're asking, the answer is no. Backlinks count whether you get traffic or not.

Obviously it's better to put the link somewhere you'll also get traffic because it kills two birds with one stone but it'll count no matter what - as long as the search engines find it.

Baclinks can give you traffic indirectly...

More backlinks means higher SE position... higher SE position means traffic..
