My fellow Warriors... I'm working on building links for my site and I have a quick question. My main site is: How To Get Girls | Mack Tactics | How To Mack I also have a Wordpress blog: http://www.macktactics.com/how-to-get-girls My question is, if I want to write articles and make "deep links" on my internal pages, should I be creating backlinks to my blog posts? For example, building back links to this blog post about approaching women: The Best Ways To Approach Girls – Destroy Approach Anxiety With This Simple Secret! | How To Pick Up Girls | Mack Tactics | Tips For Getting Laid Or, would it be more effective to create an HTML page, such as http://www.macktactics.com/ways-to-approach-girls ? And then, sending the backlinks there? Basically, I'm wondering if an HTML page containing the article will a better place to link to, rather than a post on my Wordpress blog, where the URL is much longer and just seems a bit messier. I want to get as much "link juice" as possible and move up in the search engines. Maybe there isn't any difference. Just wanted to ask your thoughts on this. Thanks! |

Ugh...when i saw my post, I saw that my posted links had been turned into text. Let me try to simplify my question. If you have an HTML website, and a Wordpress blog ...and you submit an article to the article directories... Is it better to link your article to an optimized sales page on your website, or to an optimized page on your Wordpress blog? Or is there no difference? |

1. One keyword per page in the URL and Title metatag 2. Use that keyword combo and variations on it to link to that page. 3. Target long tail terms that appeal to buyers 4. HTML or WordPress doesn't matter 5. Don't overthink, just build links. |

Thanks for your reply. One thing I need to figure out is how to modify <TITLE> tags in my individual blog posts for Wordpress...

| Use All-in-One SEO or Platinum SEO plugins. I prefer Platinum SEO because of some of it's advanced features and lack of nagging about donations but either will do the basics just fine.

Yeah, it really doesn't matter whether the links are going to your HTML pages or your blog posts, because the blog is hosted under the same domain, i.e. the link equity is all going to the same place. However, what you should be doing is getting links using the target keywords in anchor text to the pages that are optimised for those keywords, so "how to get girls" anchor text to a page (HTML or blog) with "How to get girls" as the title tag, H1 tag, in the content etc. You might want to consider changing the permalink structure of your blog to get rid of the date, it makes the URLs messier and makes the page look further away (more "directories") from the homepage than it really is. If you have links to those URLs though, remember to 301 redirect the old ones to the new ones in your .htaccess file to preserve bookmarks and links! |

totally up to you, from an SEO point of view there is no advantage between websites, blogs or forums, it's all about HOW you promote them. However from a practical perspetive a blog encourages discussion and allows opinions to be expressed which may encourage visitors to stay longer on your page.
