Default Is SEO Automation Just A Waste Of Time?!

I've tried many popular SEO programs that promise to automate your tasks and multiply your income.

I've tried out SE Nuke (one of the most recent "must have" programs) for the limited free trial, and while the software SEEMS extremely powerful, I haven't had enough time to see results -- but more importantly, I have been very disappointed by any automated service I have ever used for SEO.

This includes article submission services, directory submission services, link building services, automated book-marking, etc.

My sites generate money every day, so I'm not some newbie trying to figure this out, but I really want to go to the next level. So I keep trying different services and software.

Google really doesn't seem to CARE how many backlinks you blast all over the internet. (Which SE Nuke does in a massive way.) They don't seem to count them. And nothing happens with your search engine results.

I'd be glad to pay for services that actually work. But can anyone tell me that they are using software to automate their SEO tasks, and it has made a significant impact on their profits?

Very curious about this...

Thanks!

Dean

I have been using a good number of automated SEO tools and thouugh they don't make make you have a huge amount of traffic they do help with ranking. This takes a long time, months. The problem is that you need to have a large amount of sites to make it worth having some of these tools and you can't get to that point with out having the tools. So, there really lies the problem how much money do you have to spend and WHAT to spend it on. I was lucky enough to buy a website that pays for the tools now.

That is one way to go. HTH

I think it's a total waste of time.
Most programs are like candy to kids.....it looks great and makes you dream.
But the best way is to study and do research online, find the keywords that really matter and keyword phrases. And work at it for a while...and I mean a few weeks.
And you'll finally ...learn how to earn money online.

all automated software is a waste of time.

Wordgeist, good question. I'd like to know what tool is creating thousands of backlinks per day. I've used software that creates thousands of links, but Google seems to completely ignore them all. Is anyone getting large numbers of QUALITY back links using software? This, I would like to know...

Wow, "Creating 1000's of backlinks a day" is not a good deal. Google will see that for what it is.

As for "Google not counting them", even if you get 100 legit backlinks, Google may only show YOU that they are seeing only 50 of them. That does NOT mean they don't actually see and take into account the others. They are notorious for not showing you all the backlinks they have logged.

I wouldn't go as far as saying that all tools are waste of time, some do have value. However, I would agree that the so called automated link building software is a joke, sure they might work for a little bit but the problem is that those links are not coming from quality websites, only the ones which are most likely fly by nights and will get sold for $10, what happens to your links then?

The focus should be on building links that will survive for years, not just a couple of months. And people wonder why their rankings drop all of sudden.

tools like se nuke, brute force seo, bookmarking spam tools and all the rest of the spamming tools are a waste of time, this i agree with

but you cannot get high rankings in competetive markets without automated tools, it simply isn't possible

of all the tools I've read about, TheLinkJuicer seems like the most legit to me. There's a WSO for it so you'll save $10 off the normal price.

I was impressed because there is no hype in the sales letter. There is a maturity to the software. It doesn't try to build tons of links at the same time. I don't have the time to explain it, but search the WSO's for "The Link Juicer" by Peter Adamson. Check out The Link Juicer - The Ultimate Link Building Tool and read everything he says about the software and see if it makes sense.

Although I haven't tried using automated tools for SEO, I think that manual link building is safer and is more effective because some of these programs use links that don't make sense. You can also easily track progress by doing the SEO yourself and focus on your site's strengths and weaknesses.

Yes its a total waste of time if you have the attitude that the tools will do it all for you. A little automation (eg form filling for repetitive things) is good but SEO is not something that can be put on autopilot. The world still requires us to do a certain amount of work for success and I am actually glad for that.

They might build some juice for your sites but usually low quality and search engines don't like seo in this way. IMO.
