Top backlinking methods?

Anyone know which are the current top linking methods, which are bringing consistent good results.

I am a member of UAW for a month now, but havent seen much of a change in rankings as yet.

Search engines are getting smarter in recognizing backlink quality. That's why linkfarms don't work anymore. I'm afraid the same happens to UAW blog network.

The flaw with UAW is that you spin sentences , so even though you get an "original" article for each spin, it is made of "duplicate" sentences that already exist in other posts. This may lower the link quality in google's opinion.

Just like you, I have noticed increase in number of links but no increase of traffic. When I started checking my articles on these sites I was not to happy about some of them. I just hope UAW does more good in the long run, but I would not recommend it for important sites.

Easy solutions like UAW always get smacked by Google eventually.

I'd say blog commenting, article directories, and social bookmarking.

The answer to what works best is always the same.

High Page Rank links from related sites on different servers.

You can split that how you like, but usually it means:

1 - Articles.

2 - Natural recommendations from in-content keyword links from high PR sites (good for health or technical reviews on popular sites)

3 - JVs, partner promotions, Press releases etc.

4 - Everything else. comments on high PR pages, social bookmarks, rss etc......


I've always found that regular article and press releases with standard directory submissions and a little promotion always does the job.

I have blog networks and systems for all the other fancy ways to add to this, but there really is no secret. You don't need article spinners and everything else to get good results.

This topic comes around and around all the time with people jumping on whatever they think is the latest way to trick the search engines but the core things which have always worked and still work don't change.

It's not complicated, there are thousands of pages where you can easily go and collect links, even if no-one wants to link to you, so there's no real need for anyone to struggle with this.

Many of us have created info products showing all of this lots of times over the years, but people insist on trying to make it complicated.

Even if all you did was do reviews on Amazon I'm sure you could get enough benefit to not need any other strategy to make sales on your site.

What about link wheels? Are they working. Been thinking about getting one or so but don't know how well they are working for people if at all.

I used Angela's backlinks and they seem to help me get to higher SERPs. The only thing is for highly competitive keyword phrases they start to drop their rankings after a while and you have to do more backlinking.

Link wheels are old news - just focus on getting high PR links from as many sites as you can. There are hundreds of thousands of them out there - you don't need anything else except a little focused effort.

i agree though...many backlinking type of tactics (not all) seem temporary...the best way to get solid traffic is to give solid content...the old school way...

There is no quick way in gaining backlinks to achieve top spots in the search engines.

If you want higher rankings and more traffic, you have to do everything from article marketing, video marketing, Web 2.0 marketing, social bookmarking, RSS submission, press releases, social networking, (also blog commenting and forum marketing for traffic) etc. Never focus on one link building strategy only. Also, don't bother with directory and search engine submissions.

The problem is google now finds SEO companies making link wheeles, with many more smaller link wheels around all the links...so you have link wheels around link wheels....true but not funny.....and these link farms almost always have the same IP address, so google knows you made the link farm and bands you......
So run down to a couple friends homes use their computers, and build the link wheels.....and when you go on vacation...to another state....and visit family....ask to use their computers....take advantage of where you are at to build real legit link wheels using more than one IP address...also I do know about rotating IP's....but they'll know it's you in the same area of the country....so branch out a little ..or trade a few links online also..... !!
Even your press-releases can have you IP on it...think about it......to build a successful link wheel....can be done by using other computers...or by using secret cron codes and building secret websites and backlink in different countries at a rank of 5000 a day....but if you do that, do it before you submit you site to google..that way you can build 100,000 links in 20 days

It's better to buy PLR article. Then You rewrite, mix with your own word. submit to big article directory such as ezinearticles and goarticles. even this method takes more time It really work. don't use software. it's robot. even search engine love your article but nobody will read your article.

The best way to get back links is to use free article sites like...

Write articles and post them with your link in the article. Pick a few keywords and post those keywords at least once per 150 times in the article. By doing this it will create real backlinks that search engines like. In most cases your site will be indexed within 48 hours by doing that also.

Also, make sure you do SEO for your website.
