I'm getting really frustrated with my adwords account. These days, even when I create the most highly optimised campaign with relevant keywords, my starting quality score is always 5/10 and I can't seem to get it any higher than that.
I suspect that it is because my account has had some slapped campaigns in the past.. from when I was new and had no idea what I was doing. I am well and truly past that stage, and I do know how to get 10/10 quality scores. Do you think I should start a new account with a clean slate? Is this possible without deleting my current account (because I still have a couple of profitable campaigns running)? Or am I screwed? |

What kind of site are you sending people to? Because if you have a basic landing page with an opt-in form, google will keep kicking you down.

Getting slapped in the past is not a big factor, not as big as many people think and say. There is never a good reason to "start fresh" on a new account. That might get you in even bigger trouble since that is not allowed. You might end up with no account at all. |
