They are still calculating PageRank, just not showing it to us as much - it's still in the toolbar, and all the online PR checker tools still work.
They removed it since some people think it's very important, whereas in truth it's a minor factor, and one of only 200 other factors, which make up the decision of where a site appears in the SERPs. Don't worry about it, it's no big deal
