I(well my wife really) have a new site that I have put together, I've put up content, created a sitemap, submitted to the search engines etc etc. It's not yet indexed yet, although I expect it to be in the next day or two. I want to at least use Social Bot to create some social bookmarks to it, but I was wondering if it mattered whether I did this now, or after is it indexed? What I mean is, does either way affect ranking, whether it be positively or negatively? Many thanks |

You need to work at getting quality back links to the site right away. Actually, doing so is the best and quickest way to get indexed.
