How to find Profitable keywords and should you go after high value keywords?

Hi all

How to find Profitable keywords and should you go after high value keywords?
1)Currently using adwords keyword tool - Is that the correct tool to use?

2) After taking a main keyword - should you find other keywords around that main keyword and build articles around those keywords

3) Should you go after keywords high in $5+ range or stay safe with $1 to $3 range keywords. As i guess the whole world will be after those high end keywords..

I wanted to make my own blog - so i wanted to know how should i go ahead with making it..

As in how should i decide to find the keywords around which i should write the articles

Then WonderWheel and Also Related Searches... You'll find more keywords or possibly a better keyword. Also it's best to enure you understand what a good keyword is.

Yes you should be using other ways to rank for keywords , Google work in mysterious ways.

Woops I thought we were on the topic of SEO here, maybe it's PPC but I highly recommend staying away from expensive keywords in PPC unless you know what you're doing and it doesn't sound like you do. Although high paying keywords are potentially good for ranking.

I actually turned To PPC in my thread - as i was also focusing on adsense earning so i wanted to know the best keywords to choose and hence write articles accordingly.

I actually want to create a content blog - not selling products or anything - atleast not now

I think thats how it should be.. if one has to earn adsense income - he needs visitors - and to attract visitors we need the right keywords..
can someone please guide me how to target and what to target in keywords
