How to keyword optimize your WP blog?

Hey everybody,

I'm working on my first WP site and I was wondering if someone could tell me how you optimize your WP site for a specific keyword (so that I can ultimately rank high for that keyword)? I installed the Flexibility theme to make the designing a little bit easier and I have no idea how to edit php

I heard that you need to include your keyword in your h1, meta, and desc tags? Please help..thanks!

Is your whole blog about one keyword? If so thrown in the all-in-one seo plugin, and that will make it super easy to do all your onsite SEO.
