Hey guys, I'm not an expert in PPC but here is my question. I know that when I create an ad on Google Adwords, the ad needs to be relative with the keyword, the ad itself, the domain name, the destination url, and the landing page itself. But what if... I did the ad according to Google's rules... The destination url will direct to a relevant url However... On my site, I use htaccess file to do a 301 (temporary, only for a week or so at a time) redirect of that destination url to a different page and even a url. Will they shut it down? if they don't shut it down, will it increase my PPC costs? Thank you, Peter |

If your display url doesn't match the destination url that a user lands on I would be willing to bet that Google will catch it.

Visitors have to land on the domain you have in your ad. If you take them to another domain first but the final destination is the site in your ad then I believe you should be alright. Legitimate reasons for this may be for tracking purposes. ... |
