Default What is the easiest way to see if you have been indexed???

You've written an article with good keyword content and a key word anchor text link then posted it online and are waiting for it to get indexed. So far so good. After a certain amount of time you'll check to make sure you were indexed.

So my question is, what is the easiest way to check if your keyword have been indexed???

At present I'd wade through google a page at a time but there has to be a better way.

Type your full url into Google - is its there in the SERPS, you've been indexed.

Hi Will

So you mean that if my full url is http://www.squidoo.com/indexed_indexed that I plug that into google and

if there is no result, not index

if there is a result, then indexed?

I thought you were asking about your own domain.. If you want to get a squidoo lens indexed then create a blog at blogspot.. include links to your lens and publish and ping... worked for me..

this is easy! if your site is Testing.com | Testing | Software Testing Services | Test Equipment | Load Testing

than simply go to any google.com and type in your full url Testing.com | Testing | Software Testing Services | Test Equipment | Load Testing
check for the result to see if your site rank up.

One way to see if you have been indexed is to go to Google or Bing and use the following

site: www.yourdomain.com

Replacing the yourdomain with your real domain. You can also tell how many back links you have by using...

link: www.yourdomain.com

I hope that helps.

Aarrgghhhhh I'm getting

Your search - http://mydomain.html - did not match any documents.

So the answer is not indexed. This tells me i have many sites that are not listed even though they have been pinged, ping-fm'd, dugg and stumbled. Now to work out why and what to do.

Thanks every one for your help.

The simplest thing to do is type site:mydomain.com (no spaces) into google. You can do that for subdomains (such as blogger blogs; site:myblog.blogspot.com) or subfolders (such as squidoo lenses; site:squidoo.com/mylens) too.
