Hiring an Adwords expert

Hi, I've got a few questions for those of you who have hired someone to create their adwords campaigns or provides the service themselves...

What I want is for someone who knows what they're doing to do some key word research for me, write some ads and create an optimized campaign. The basic goal would be to have targeted traffic for the lowest cost possible.

The markets I'm in are fairly general and easy to find traffic for.

So my questions are:

How much does a service like this cost?

Where can I find good, trusted adwords experts to hire?

Any recommendations?

Depends. Many agencies charge a percentage of your spend, usually 10-20%. There would also be some sort of minimum (20% of $5/day = $1, not worth it for them). There can also be set up fees.

Others charge an hourly fee. That can run the whole gamut, from $10 to $50.

I charge a set monthly fee based on size of a campaign. It's really an hourly fee, I know on average how much time I'll be spending each month for a site selling 10 products vs one selling 100 products and charge accordingly.

There are a few of us here in this forum. Just a matter of PMing us.

You could do a search on engines. Some will have their own ads.

Freelance sites are good. I get most of my business there. There's eLance, Getafreelancer, Gu ru, oDesk and others. Won't cost you a thing to post a project. I've also found clients on Craigslist asking for PPC managers so you can post there.
