Google Adsense For Search: Do you use it?

Hello,

I have a couple of questions about Google Adsense for Search:

1. Do you guys use it on your websites?
2. If you do, what type of monetary return do you get each day based on impressions? I know it is not much, just curious what type of sites this service works best for.

nah, waste of time I think, others might not agree, but I feel it reduces the conversion rates.

I use it but only allow it to search other content within my site. But if my site really small then I won't since everything can be found in the side panel.

I use it and have it set for searching my sites first. Works ok. I don't really look at it as a money maker (some conversions), but more as an added feature for my visitors.

tried it and never made much money. I do better with and ad block insted

I also tried but it's nothing compared to normal adsense block in earnings.

I never made too much dough from it so I took it down. A well placed large rectangle above regular search results for your site would beat it any day.

I used it on one of my sites. However, I took it down because the income I earned was miniscule.

I have it on my main page like wikipedia and I do get some clicks. But 250 block ad pays me the highest.

Everyone thanks for the answers.

I have the typical block ad on a few of my sites as well. My real question was whether this search engine would bring in a little more money. For instance, if I am getting $5 a day on my adsense site, would including the search engine box raise the daily total to $6 or $7 or would this work against the block ads and actually lower the total amount per day?

My thinking is that it might raise it based on the fact that someone who would not click on an ad, might use your search box. What are your thoughts?
