I will use an adsense image ad (728x90 banner) as my header for a new website. No website name or logo, just the adsense image banner. The menu will be below that. Could that be ok to atract clicks or i should drop it and use a banner below the menu ? What do you think? I will also have a text ad banner at the footer. Thanks |

I advice you to test it first then ask us or your friendsto see it to tell you if it is ok or not

It might not pull the kind of ads you want to match your content. Then what? And if it does pull and you get a low payout you'll never see those people again. If Adsense is your sites intention and you can drive traffic then go for it... after you test it. But if you want residual traffic then it is probably a bad idea. |

I don't think image ads have the same click thru rate, but this is only a personal opinion. What you might do, is do both. Have a 728x90 image ad, then below that your image header, then below that a 728x90 text ad block. You are on the right track as far as thinking, analyzing, tweaking, etc. Paul |

What i want to do is get rid of some image / logo header and just put an Image ad in there. Kinda of brutal but maybe it works. Also i have thought of your suggestions but then i will have to remove the footer ad, since three ads in each page is much for me (with so little real content). But i will switch this on a 2-3 days and see how it goes. I will let you know. thks | |
