I am doing some research on competitors using Market Samuari and have noticed that hardly any established websites inc some of the top 50 do NOT have any information in TITLE - URL - DESCRIPTION - AND HEAD tags. Is there a reason for this and is it beneficial to have information in these 4 tags, or not?
Thanks for you input. Pete |

As many people on this forum have said ... most businesses know nothing about SEO or internet marketing. So it is very common for commercial websites not to be SEO optimised with the correct title/url/desc/head tags.
Most businesses do not setup websites for people to 'stumble' upon while trying to find something via a search engine. They use paid advertising or other such virtual or physical advertising instead to generate traffic to their sites and hence have no need for SEO. Hope that makes sense. |
