Here is a list of web 2.0 properties that you can use to create your link wheels and rank higher in various search engines. The pdf file contains about 75 of them. Web_2_0_blogsite_List_Good_For_LinkWheels- www.linkedtraffic.com.pdf.pdf Now go out there and dominate! |

kendrickyi a linkwheel is a bunch of web 2.0 sites that link to each other in a wheel like manner. Ie. if you have 4 sites the link structure could look like A -> B ->C ->D ->A which gives each site some one way links from other web 2.0 sites. The idea here is that web 2.0 sites have a decent amount of link juice and linking the sites in this manner (and of course linking to your money site) gives better results than just doing A -> your site, B-> you site etc. |

If I want a linkwheel I should link articles from one article directory to another to another and another and finally to my website and blog right? Something like that?

I understand the power of linking up thru the properties, but why do we want to link d to a and create a wheel ?I thought we wanted all the PR to go up and into our money site at the end? Doesnt linking d to a cycle the pr back down and waste it?

| This is a good list. If I may add just a few good techniques to help with this. Please keep in mind, when creating your own linkwheels, you want to leave as little a footprint as possible. One way to help you do this is to use different proxies when building a linkwheel. Also I suggest that after you build your linkwheel to go and Bookmark each Web2.0 property to various High page rank Bookmark sites.I really like using the Free program www.onlywire.com Then to really add some Ummph to your Web2.0 properties, you shoild gather the rss feed links from each one and then go submit those rss feed links to many Rss feed aggregators. Here are to good ones at www.feedage.com www.feedster.com Then gather all the New Web 2.0 property links you just made and go to www.pingler.com and ping these new Url's for free. Also, try to use fresh unique content on your newly created Web2.0 properties. And also, try to make a short video using the many free video making software that is avaible like Window's movie maker or the free version of camstudio, just google for free video making software. Also makesure to use your url and keywords in the description of the video at Youtube. Now after you make this free video, You need to submit this to Youtube, and then Bookmark your Youtube URL to onlywire. Then make sure to include this video on all your Web2.0 properties that you can, for example, www.squidoo.com is a GREAT Web2.0 property and you can insert your video's and images. Now when you insert your video's to your pages, make sure to use your keywords as the Title of the image.(Google will pick this up). This is just a few pointers to go along with the list that the op so graciously provided everyone here with. This is why I love the "Warrior Forum". Everyone trying to help everyone .Thanks again op for the great list you have provided Hope this info. helps some of you... Thanks, Jeff |

Im certainly not arguing but discussing so I know... How does a proxy make a difference with footprints? The 2.0 sites are being hosted on their own servers, are you saying that our ip address we use when posting gets logged and tracked and leaves a footprint? Is this definate? |

YES, Absolutely.Along with the browser you are using, where your I.P. address is located, and all kinds of other stuff. It is very well known among SEO professionals, that I.P. addresses are recorded and Google can tell if the same I.P.address was used to make backlinks. There are many easy ways these days to hide your real I.P. It's really not hard at all. Hope this helped you.

It's worth noting, with regard to footprints, that what rmljbm says is his opinion. It may also be the opinion of many SEO professionals, but I bet I could find you just as many who don't believe footprinting is worth bothering about. As with everything else about SEO, there's no definitive answer. As jhess56 says, your IP address is only relevant when you post to a Web 2.0 website. As far as Google is concerned, the IP of the backlink is the IP of the Web 2.0 site. It doesn't know the IP of the user who logged in and added the content. Besides, don't you think if Google is monitoring footprints like that, it's also got a record of proxy IPs and can tell when your using one? That would be an immediate red flag. |

KennyH,, I have to agree with you, that there is NO definitive SEO answer, as Google's algorithym's are "Top Secret". My statements are strictly based on years of experience with SEO and research. These are Not scientific based facts. In my experience, it is best to use different I.P's. ALso I absolutely suggest using "YouTube" video's on as many Web2.0 as possible ex....squidoo, wordpress. Google loves content and Google owns Youtube. It is very easy to make a short video these days. You can use "powerpoint" and just make a short slide show video, using your keywords in the text very often.. ALSo in the description make sure to enter your domain first -ex.. http://mydomain.com *********** Put these start after, and it will draw attention to your www. name, then put your content for description, using your keyword in the first sentence,, Also, At your site, try to put keyword in "Bold" in the first sentence, and dont forget to make good use of your "H1" Meta tags.. This is very important... Hope this helps ![]() Jeff |

Super IP hiding tip #1: Take your laptop for a walk and do your link building from a random cafe or other location that has free wifi. Another thing I've noticed is that posting blog comments with a different URL in the link box results in the comment being caught by the filters. Which sucks when you do actually write really good and valuable comments! Problem avoided and fresh air obtained by the same strategy... |

Linkwheels are low quality links, you will barely notice results except in the most uncompetitive niches. Google has algorithms to detect these types of links. There are much better strategies unless you just plan on running SeNuke 24/7 for marginal results.

Great list - thanks man! I would use these types of Web 2 properties to build links to bigger Web 2 sites such as Squidoo, Blogger etc...drive a heap of link to Squidoo, Blogger etc then have your links to your moneysite there... Seems to work better than just make a low quality link wheel... |

This way.. when you create profile links, you create them using different ip's, and it doesn't show up as the same person created 500 profiles pointing back to the same money site.
