Page rank for clickbank products

i am new to understanding these things, such as importance to page ranks. I was just curious, how imporntant is the page rank of a clickbank product website.

If you are asking that from the perspective of an affiliate using AdWords, then Google's opinion of a site can matter with respect to your click costs. It's not that Google Page Rank is the deciding factor, it's just a part of their overall opinion of a page.

If you are an affiliate:
- I don't think that the PR of the product you are considering of promoting is much of an indicator of anything, other than
a) that the owner is putting an effort into optimizing the offer page for search traffic, or
b) that it is organically being linked to.
The first case may be of importance if you will be trying to compete with the site for search traffic. Second case could mean that people are "talking about" this product. When it comes to Clickbank products though, I'd think that it is other marketers doing the talking than actual users of the product (backlink research could help).

I tend to look at every site's PR score, and most IM people are probably similar. So, I could infer that IM products with higher PR would be more likely to be promoted by other IM people, than PR0 ones.

Try cbengine.com to find good clickbank product, PR has nothing to do with selecting a good product.
