Hi everyone, Anybody who has some knowledge or experience in this could explain how the indexing of pages work? one thing i'm confused about is. If a google spider crawls a website, will it automatically crawl onto every link there? and furthermore will it index the links there? or will it put those pages through some sort of quality test before it indexes them? as for backlinks, say I want to get all of my backlinks indexed and I kept track of where they are. So I make a page online with links to where my backlinks are, and get google to crawl on it. will it go on and crawl onto all of those links or might it ignore them since my page is very basic, all it has are links? |

Somebody can correctme if im wrong, however i think this is exactly what dofollow links and nofollow links are. If your link is tagged with a line of script described as nofollow you are telling google NOT to crawl it, if it doesn't have it...google will crawl it. Whether you like it or not.
