goog is unpredictable, really. It not show my links on other, and authority sites.
Also I tough PR was done...oh well.

Yeah I just came here to post about this. One of my sites went from
a PR4 to PR7!

haven't checked all of my sites but from the few I have they've all gone
up.

PR pretty much means nothing to me because I only care about
rankings but it's still nice to see it go up none the less.

Yep, my PR went up from 1-3, which is good, but the real good thing is that it is now also on page one of Google for most of the key terms I targeted. Content and backlinks are the key.

The first Xfactor style site I did back mid August went to PR 2 from 0 with internal articles going btw pr 2-1, and 2 other sites started in September are PR1. If that's not something encouraging, I don't know what. Particularly fur us rather 'newbies' who see that their work does bring in results if we keep at it.

Yup, was pleasantly surprised this morning to see this fabulous update. I totally forgot about the PR thingy until I saw it updated!

I was pleasantly surprised today to find that 90% of my sites PR increased. Not as much as some people on here but an increase is a increase in my mind.

Kind of funny. A week ago there were al these posts saying PR was no more because google happened to remove a tool ofr it in the webmaster tools section. No such thign but they were going on about backlinks and PR being useless. Sites using those strategies are mostly up - even in the SERPS.

most common way without having to go to a site to use a tool is to install the google toolbar in your firefox browser.

Oh my site dropped form PR4 to PR2.. I couldn't believe it that my little three month old site got a PR4 that quick. Should have kept building links to it..

One of my other sites went from pr0 to pr1.

btw, Amitywill, PR7 is really nice. How long did it take?

Hey thanks Capone2009. The domain is just over a year old.

It's only got about 6,000 backlinks which took around 2 months to
get. I think the reason that the pr jumped from 4 to 7 is because
I recently spent some time building backlinks for my backlinks to help
boost the rankings. Worked pretty well I'd say.

You can check the pagerank at this free pagerank checker tool. There are plenty others, just search google.

Not to worry new sites take some time to get all the backlinks counted in. I just launched a new site and it too has no rank (not my backlink sales page - i never backlink to that).. Just keep building backlinks and adding content and you'll be dancing like they are at the next update.
