Making money with a blog and adsense

Hello All

I`m new to this forum so go easy on me .

I`m after some tips/advice on how to make money with my blog and adsense,i have my blog all setup with content based adsense bars on the left of the blog , i have also got various clickbank products on there all with the correct hoplinks back to there products , i was lucky with 1 of
them allbeit a small amount .

My issue is traffic ,i thought by having all the post`s the same name as the blog ,which was a tip i got from one of the many products i have brought of late ,and making sure i had enough content with videos on there would of generated a bit more traffic.

In a moment of madness i started sending traffic to it from google adwords which did get me more traffic but obviously the ad spend was greater than the profit ,so i stopped that .

I used the ping-o-matic to get the blog out there ,but it looks like when you use it once it wont let you use it again keeps on saying you`ve just ping`d the blog try later .

Does anyone have any tips or advice , i would really appreciate any help.

Hello G,

You need to do some basic SEO work to rank higher in the search engines. That will give you the best traffic.

Try social bookmarking. This will increase traffic, not good traffic, but traffic nontheless.

Be patient, don't throw alot of money at your site. It will happen, but it is a process that takes time.

Look through this forum and others for SEO tips.

I other thing to do it look at your plugins. Make sure you have an All In One SEO plugin going. There are several to chose from. Just go to your plugin page and search for ALL In One SEO and several will show up. These will help your posts more search engine friendly.

Just wanna thank you for letting me know that Im not only novice out there trying to make money the this world wide web,

As I have hearn from many people I've spoke and chatted with this deal does that time we just have to be patient and diligent. Good luck to you my Brother and maybe someday will be able to fire our Boses.

I have adsence, Yahoo videos, you tube, adword aswell as 2 blogs, and a website that have products, free download, clickbank hops and now I quess its time to patient as I mentioned above

Here is my 2 pence of ideas for free traffic

1.yahoo answers-find topics to what people are asking in yahoo answers and build up with a good comments as you get up to level 2 you can then display your link

2.bookmarking-send your site to google bookmarks yahoobookmarks digg mister wong reddit, make sure your keywords and description is ok and is targeted to the people you are trying to get to your blog

3.rss feeds-heres a tip for you get your blog site such as myblog.wordpress.com and take it to feedage.com then change the url to rss feed. then go to Feed Validator Results: http://www.feedage.com/html2rss/html2rss.php?id=86909 and send the url from it this url will be picked up by many directories and will produce many backlinks to your site meaning more hits or visitors.

4.seo outscourcing-there are many people form the warrior forum.who will do do the work for you just look in the warrior section or warrior special offers.

5.article writing. i use for article writing a fellow warrior who will even host the articles on his enzine article platiuim account which means he already has people intrested in new articles and what he has to offer you can see more at 99centarticles.com | Package Deals

Stop buying stuff from people that only purport to know more than you.

and read all 5 articles and apply it. Won't cost you a thing and you'll be miles ahead.

What you need to do is

Optimize your webpage for the page for the keywords you want to rank for.
Then start link building. You could be #1 on google in 3-4 months.

It takes time and effort. I can teach you if you want.

Social traffic is worth crap. It's a bunch of damn bored people clicking links to be entertained. Years ago this was called channel surfing.

You need search traffic not social traffic.
