Hey,

I am about to run and campaign in adbrite and direct the traffic to a landing page to grow a list I am building. I was wondering if any one can give me some advice on what works better from your experience:

Banner ads or text ads?

i am not sure about your niche, and how competitive is it. Why dont you try adwords? It will boost your site with more traffic....Just my 0.02

Text ads are more targeted and specific while banner ads grab more attention. If you are looking at long-term, text ads may give you more relevant results with better targeted visitors while banner ads may attract more visitors, a large part of those visitors may just come and go very quickly.

I used both, banner and ads campaigns in AdBrite network. The results was very similar. It is good idea to use both of them because some website displays only links and some only banners -- so if you use both of them you can expect more impressions.
