I am selling my own product online and will be using PPC to bring traffic to my site. Is there a way to estimate how many clicks I it will take per conversion so that I can better plan my campaign budgets?

It depends on many things such as the price of the product you're selling and the effectiveness of your sales pitch.

I understand what your saying but is there a general rule of thumb? I just need some way of determining how much traffic I need to generate to make a sale.

1 percent is pretty good. 2 percent is outstanding. 3 or 4 percent is a dream come true.
