Is this OK to employ if you use AdSense?

Wondering if this site is OK to use in order to drive traffic to your URL?

Hi toivo,

In my experience these types of services have a notorious reputation for fake traffic. The problem is that they don't reveal the true source of traffic so you have to just "trust" them.

Usually the traffic comes from your page being loaded into a popup or popunder ad. Since most clients have built in popup blockers the windows are usually shut down before they even finish loading on the visitors computer screen. Many of these types of services will supplement the popup page loads with a healthy amount of robot (fake) traffic.

Most that I have looked at have traffic that will get your AdSense account smart priced or revoked. I wouldn't chance it if I were you.

That is a complete waste of money. Those kinds of sites have 2 sides to their business.

One side is getting you 10,000 hits for $10. And they will get you 10,000 "hits" in the amount of time specified.

HOWEVER...

The other side of their scam is paying people to click lists of links. I had a friend once who could make $4.00 an hour simply clicking those links as fast as he could click.

So you pay them $10 and they pay out $8.00 to clickers. They make $2.00 off of the arbitrage scam.

As you can guess, you would not make one sale (or one adsense click) from that traffic.

Always remember: There are no free lunches. If it sounds too good, it is 99.9% of the time.

I was thinking the same and what you just reiterated has helped alot. Really appreciate your insights and I don't want to risk all of my work in AdSense by getting the account closed down just for fake traffic.
