How many Tags per Blog post, what's best?

Is more better, is less better, is there an optimum number??

I think the more tag you have, more index on google.

If your blog has few pages, each tag has it’s own unique permalinks that can widely help distribute your pages and get more exposure over the search engines if you rank high.

It helps your readers to know what your post is all about in a few simple words. That is why it is sometimes known as keywords too.

Tagging doesn’t really have an negative impact but you should not abuse it and keep to just 1 or two tags per post.

You should be careful with this...dont use too much tags. If you use More than 60 will get you reported as a tag spammer.

Tags are pretty useless for search engine traffic.
They are for in-house searching. Even then if your
tags don't match the content, they will be ignored.
Your blog title and content trumps any tags you may
or may not come up with. That's what google is going
to look at. Not your tags.
