How often does Google update its PR ranking?

Does anyone know how often does Google update its PR ranking?

in about 3-4 months.. till last year.. i have heard that recently that is been changed to monthly updates

It depends what you mean really.

If you mean "visible PR2 then the answer varies - an update has occurred in the last few days, but there hadn't been one for some months previously.

In terms of how often Google is looking at PR: daily, possibly hourly.

Google nowadays don't set a specific time for pr changes coz they want web-masters to always not to know their method of pr the best thing to is to download Google tool-bar then customize it to your site & with that you will be able to monitor your site pr well

Google PR Updates takes place approx every after three months.

I heard a rumor that Google is doing away with the page rank system. There will still be some form of ranking involved but you wont be able to check the actual PR of pages.

My experience is about 4 months in previous years, but lately Google seems to update it around 2 to 3 months.
