How much have you earned from Google Adsense?

I started using Google adsense almost two and a half years back. After earning some 37$, My account was disabled, the reason being given as fraud clicks. I tried creating other accounts later on but every time, my account would be disabled saying that it is related to my previous banned account. So, I did not have any success with Adsense.
What about you? Whats your success story?

I earned a couple grand when a competitor decided to click bomb me for a day or two and google banned me because of that. However, it's the best thing to have happened to me.

I've heard many Warriors make a fortune out of Adsense, but I only manage to earn very little, that's why most of my income from affiliate marketing and my own product.

I've just started by I have four sites that earn a little over 100$ each month. I actually bought the blogs with adsense already in place so now I'm trying to learn how to increase the earnings.

For obvious reasons i won't detail my Adsense income BUT I can tell you this:

Adsense = Unique Content + Links.

At least for me, this is the deal. I know some people have different strategies, but this is the one i follow since 2004.

Adsense success requires traffic. People who say they don't do well with AdSense usually don't have an AdSense problem, they have a traffic problem.

Think about it. The average beginner who knows little about niche selection, keywords, and SEO will throw up a site that "might" get several hundred page views a month eventually. The truth is that it takes 1000 page views to earn from a few dollars to $20 or $30 (at most usually) depending on the niche.

I agree. I had adsense on a website with over 2-300,000 page views a month with about 30,000 unique visitors. The niche was a very poor one. I imagine if it was a good niche, with that traffic. I would hae made 10 times more. If one wants to do adsense right, they must pick a niche that pays well and work on getting a lot traffic to your website. Of course, people's opinion on this will vary.

here's a short course for ya.

find niches that require you to pay a crap load of money if you use them.

ie,

lawyers
dentist
electronic goods

any kind of job that pays over $150k a year.. then run a keyword search for 'em, choose the right text size ad unit, and find keywords that only have a few ads on google, but cost a lot... then you'll start getting high paying clicks, if you head over to ke university dot com, you'll see the exact method I use to find those high paying clicks

Yes, the niche choice is very important... not only for AdSense.

It's interesting, but there are some other high-paying niches for AdSense that are *outside* the typical popular markets.

Think "housing", "roofing" etc...

Here people spend quite a lot on ads :-)
