Can this SEO embarassment be transformed?

Years ago I started writing one of my blogs with no thought to SEO. Not the permalinks, titles - nothing.

Now I want to go back and modify the titles, permalinks, keyword density - etc. I really have no page rankings to lose.

What are your thoughts - good idea? bad idea? Will Google re-index or whatever the thing after I'm finished fixing the posts?

Would love your thoughts,

If you've got nothing to lose then it's certainly a good idea. In fact, I think it's a good idea anyway!

I don't see any problem on that, just do it before you mass backlink building!

Of course, do it now. Google will start indexing if you fix it and get some links.

Great idea. Make sure to update your sitemap.xml. The Goog loves fresh content and I have found that even changing a word or two here and there on old blog posts brings them right back up.
