I'm trying to do some event tracking to quantity how may people click on a link on an .ASP page. After staring at the help pages for hours, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is there anything I need to set-up in GA before I add the tracking code to the links?
My code is as follows - <p><a href="http://www.sitename.com/info1.asp?re...atalogdl"><img src="images/buttons/download-catalog-wht.jpg" alt="Download Catalog" width="300" height="27" border="0" /></a></p> I've had the code in there for a couple weeks, and I know folks have clicked on that link, but nothing shows up in Analytics. Also, I want to track the actual click when a user downloads a file. But the link already has an "onclick" event coded in it. Can I add a second onclick event? The code looks like this - <input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Submit" onClick="return checkmail(this.form.strEmail)"> Any help would be much appreciated! Mark |

You may want to put it in the coding section - possibly somebody could help you there. I took a look at it - I really don't have an answer. I'm stumped as well.
