Hey peeps, Does anyone know how to apply a filter to a specific page? There's so many choices to choose from via the drop down menu I can't work out which one is the correct one. I know how to include a sub-directory ONLY, but that sub-directory has two pages that I would like to track based on sign-ups/leads like... in order not to include data from somedomain.com, I'd include the filter to only track data via a new profile to say: somedomain.com/sub-directory/ but how do I add one for a specific page my pages are like: somedomain.com/subdirectory/somepage.php = via profile 1 somedomain.com/subdirectory/someOTHERpage.php = via profile 2 both these pages are thank you pages, but the landing page has different content, and me need to know which landing page converts better. I've never used G.A filters for AB testing before, just the normal method of AB testing. Cheers in advance peeps. |

if you go to top landing pages breakdown, otherwise from most other pages in analytics, you can type in the URL or the unique part of the URL at the bottom in the search box. just type in the unique ending of the URL that you're trying to analyze and it should pull up. Otherwise you may have to set up a custom report or advanced segment that looks for a URL ending in.....If you're comparing paid search data than it would be even easier with just a URL performance report. Try to mess around with some of these options and you should be able to figure it out. |

Hi Loz, I'm sure you probably already knew this, you can create user defined Goals in Analytics that should do what you say you are trying to do with filters. Is there a specific reason you are trying to use filters instead? Perhaps to tease out keyword data? |

Seems like you ought to be able to do it using Regular Expressions in advanced custom filters. Have you tried the Google Analytic Help Forum? Google Analytics Help |
