How do I "Ping a Digg listing" ??

A method I am following says "Ping the Digg listing".

I've joined Digg.com, and made a listing, how do I ping it??

Get the digg url. Go to pingler.com, pingoat.com, pingomatic and run it

Only ping it once a day though!

Be careful using Pinging services like Pingomatic. You can be marked as a spammer if you regularly ping it.

Put the url of your post on digg then go to autopinger.com.

get the digg listing URL;goto the below URL:
Feedage.com - Convert HTML 2 RSS

this is for converting the URL to the RSS -> then use pingomatic or whatever you like.

I don't think pinging the digg listing is necessary, Google indexes Digg too often

I just checked it, and Google had already indexed the Digg submission already, and I only made it 4 hours ago, so I agree with you, thanks

thats if you do it more than once a day, theres a WP plugin that stops that from happening, cos WP pings each time you edit your post, and the plugin prevents that.

run a search for:
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer

and that will prevent it from pinging more than once when you edit your post.
