Post Do-follow blog commenting - case study

hey,

Well, there have been a lot of rumors, debates, suggestions and what not on how do-follow blogs are helpful to a site. There negative points and positive points are usually discussed and you can't come to a clear cut conclusion.

So, I thought I would do a case study on one of my new site which has some 50 articles and is without a backlink. I wouldn't want to disclose the link and the keywords I will be targeting while I am on this campaign, but I sure will tell you that it comes in the category of "health"

What I will be doing:

  • Only comment on do-follow blogs have PR6-2 only.
  • Auto approve comment feature available on most of the blogs. This will save time as most of the blogs are moderated and takes weeks before showing the comment.
  • I will comment on blogs that are mostly not related to my niche as it will be too difficult to find 100+ blogs related all to health and which will have high pr page. So, I will go with a variety of niche blogs.
  • The blogs will have high pr page irrespective of the pr of the domain.
  • The comments I will do will be around 40-50 words and related to the content of the page and have a anchor text of what I desire.
  • The traffic and earnings are nil so far, so this would be a good experiment to prove the benefits of do-follow blog commenting.
  • I have build a list of 100+PR2 PR3 PR4 and 60+PR5 blogs to back up my case study.
  • I am a professional link builder and hence know what I am doing and how I will be commenting to give maximum benefit to my site.

Features of site:

  • The site is a wordpress CMS site.
  • The domain is around 5 months old.
  • ZERO PR and 50+ indexes.
  • No traffic by Google analytic (GA)
  • No earning so far from ad-sense.
  • Not promoting any affiliate for now.
  • A good premium theme and 100% unique content.

Note: I will not practice any other link building techniques whatsoever to give better results for my site. This case study/experiment is fully based on do-follow blog commenting.

I will be updating this thread weekly or every 15 days with the results I will be getting from Do-follow blog commenting. I will build like 1-5 links a day and will not work on Saturday's and Sunday's.

In the end, we all will hope to see some constructive results on search engines like google, yahoo, msn, bing.

Hoping to get some suggestions on do's and don't and your view point of the initiative I am taking to prove a theory.

I have actually started this same case study on few more forums simultaneously to gather your viewpoints and suggestion for the best results.

Lets hope for the best.

All the comments are welcome.

My Aim: To get to the 1 page only via do-follow blog commenting

Great! another case study!

Can you at least post some competition info here?

Like what is the number of broad, exact and allintitle figure? What position are you trying to rank and what is the link number of your competitor?

Looking forwards to see more here!

I'm willing to bet that submitting links to a bunch of irrelevant blogs won't help but would love to be proven wrong.

Check the SERPS and see which sites are ranking at the top of Google for "cheap viagra" and then we'll talk

If my links in 100% irrelevant forum profiles helps me get to the top of google, i'm not sure how blogs would be that different.

Blatant self-promotion to be inserted.

I think you really need to watch this case study. You totally have a wrong understanding of what link building is. If you check the sites which are on the which are on the first page, their backlink structure is all mixed up. The backlinks are coming from different profiles, pages link baiting and all. You really need to check up with what you think, cause you are wrong.

Google and the other search engines want you to believe that you must have relevant links in order to boost a site's ranking.

Well, good luck for it. I guess you need to deal with the owners of blog. Because blog is moderated by the owners. I tried doing this before and sometimes it has no assurance. I tried commenting in a good blog even my comments is good. But they reject it especially if they know that your site is related to them.. BTW, I hope you'll succeed..

I know for a fact it works, I used to provide such a service but it was simply too exhausting to perform 500+ high pr dofollow blog comments each day to multiple clients.

You'll definitely see results!
