AdWords Keyword Niche Question

Hi,

I have a niche business in my local area and I have a question about adwords keywords and relevance. I'll demonstrate the problem in a made-up example below:

-Assume I have a simple site for my fictional chemistry tutor business. The pages on my website are: home, services, and contact.

-Let's say my 5 super-focused, researched, great keywords are these:

chem tutor somerville ma
chem tutor medford ma
chem tutor malden ma.
chem tutor burlington ma
chem tutor cambridge ma

Assume I've done the appropriate SEO placements and have these keywords in my title tags and content, etc -- all the same for the 3 pages (please ignore for this example that all 5 keywords are on all of the pages -- I know that's a proverbial "no-no")

Here's the question.

Now I'd like to expand my adwords to cover these keywords:

chem tutor springfield ma
chem tutor worcester ma

The problem is that these keywords are a bit farther away from my geographical location -- but not so far away that I couldn't do business with people there.

I don't want to optimize the title tags, etc. for these two keywords (springfield, worcester) because the 5 keywords above are much better and more relevant for me. I don't want to dilute the 5 "super" keywords I have above for my pages -- but I also don't want to miss out on potential business.

That being said, AdWords is unhappy with me because it doesn't find the "springfield" and "worcester" keywords in my pages.

Should I thus create two new service pages just for these two keywords?

So for example, for the 5 keywords I'm great with, just continue to link the ads to "services.html" as I'm doing now.

And for the springfield keyword, to create an ad with the "springfield" keyword linked to a page "services1.html" that is ripe with the "chem tutor springfield ma" keyword.

And for the worcester keyword to do the same thing and create a page "services2.html" that is ripe with the "chem tutor worcester ma" keyword.

So in effect I'd have three copies of the services page.
services.html for the 5 super keywords
services1.html for springfield
services2.html for worcester.

Is this what people do?

Anyway, you get the idea. Thank you so very much in advance for taking the time to read this post and for any advice.

If you are going to have lot of content specific to sprinfield / worcester then it would be a good idea to create services1.html and services2.html.

However if you simply want to include the keywords chem tutor springfield ma,
chem tutor worcester ma on the services page - you can use dynamic insertion of the keyword on the landing page

So when someone types in chem tutor springfield ma - your services.html landing page will have title chem tutor springfield ma and when someone types in chem tutor worcester ma your services.html landing page will have title chem tutor worcester ma.

And on the about/contact us page you can mention chem tutor servicing springfield, worcester,..... and so on.

That should be good enough to get nice QS on Adwords.

I think its better you create 2 different pages 4 the additional set of keywords you are targetting. make new fresh contents for those pages specific, relevant.

Thank you both for your replies and taking the time to read the post. I will look into dynamic keywords.

But techseol let me ask you this--

The only real difference in my "service" pages -- in terms of real, honest content - would be the title -- in general. There's really no "new fresh and relevant content" about my hypothetical chem tutor services that would be different in springfield or worcester, other than the fact that the location is different. I can teach you chemistry here or there -- it doesn't matter.

I can't really think of a good way to take my generic services page -- which basically says "I'm a great chem tutor that can help you with your chemistry tutoring needs" and then work in:

chem tutor somerville ma
chem tutor medford ma
chem tutor malden ma
chem tutor burlington ma
chem tutor cambridge ma
chem tutor springfield ma
chem tutor worcester ma

So without real, new relevant content, should I just copy the same generic services page text, but just change the title keywords to match the keyword?

So each services page says ""I'm a great chem tutor that can help you with your chemistry tutoring needs" but then the difference is that the title tag on the first page (services1.html) has "chem tutor springfield ma" and the title tag on the second page (services2.html) has "chem tutor worcester ma".

What do you think?
