What is the point of having your Profile Links indexed?

What is the point of having your Profile Links indexed with WebDevTips or similar when you do backlinking campaigns with Angela's or Paul's materials?

What is the utility of that?

i dont know what is WebDevTips, but if your profiles indexed it means that google found them and you can get the value of the links.

@archkre, getting backlinks from High PR site is always beneficial be it in your niche or not. Read about this clarification from angela's pdf's. There is clear explanation for this.

As Gothic Love stated it proves that Google has found the pages and that the backlinks provided they are dofollow will be counted.

Yes, very true! Especially those links are from High PR domains, it works great even the page itself is PR0!

although it is high PR on its domain, but i am doubt if it is useful when the link is not even crawled by SE. My personal experience, i have subscribe for 3 months, a total of about 40 links added (minus those rejected links out of 90 links), only 10 out of them are indexed......and yet, i am not seeing any result of my SERP yet, maybe the keyword is too competitive.

True! Although most High PR domain will get the spider notice your profile, but if the spider miss it because too many new members, you are wasting time to build the links...

Ping to get the spider index your link is always a good idea !

May I ask what is your favorite workflow to create and submit your profile links?

If I create a new HTML site, let's say http://donkey.com, do I need to create a RSS with a code generator like Webdevtips and submit that to aggregators afterwards or adding /feed is enough (as http://donkey.com/feed)?
