I Agreed with Amber whatever the process that she has mentioned above are good to get traffic.

Joining in forums which can give quality backlinks counts. Submission of your site in search engines can help too. Google an automatic submitter so you can save time in doing it manually.

As you said your niche is Entertainment and it's blog so you can easily get huge traffic post regularly with unique and interested topic and doe these also beside Directory Submission, Article Submission, social bookmarking, Blog post etc

You can also try to search for trendy keywords using trends.google.com, write interesting post about the trend and bookmark it, backlink it to get tons of trendy traffic!

Building Linkwheel is another way to go, this is more advance topic that requires proper keyword research and SEO task!

If you implement it right, you can get tons of traffic in a short period!

There are many ways that you can drive traffic to your entertainment blog, but you need to spend time and put effort to do these, otherwise you can spend some money to outsource the works.

You can either do forum posting (with signature), blog commenting, social bookmarking, word of mouth, article marketing, and the like. Many things you can do to drive traffic.

Because its an entertainment blog I would do:

1/ social media sites - myspace, twitter, facebook
2/ Comment on related entertainment blogs
3/ create and submit videos on Youtube etc..
4/ social bookmarketing - using Onlywire
5/ Guess posting get other people to write blog posts for you.
6/ do a contest / competition, make it go viral using Twitter, by getting people to reweet it to enter the contest.

Try and get your readers involve
