Default Questions about Google - local search

Hi,

I am living in Australia and I would like to know how do I get my website ranked well in Google.com (US i think?) instead of Google.com.au? Is there a way to make sure that my website get a high PR globally, meaning it get good ranking in google.com, google.com.au, google.co.uk etc........

Appreciate anyone who can help me with this.

Usually, if your backlinks, IP or domain are from Australia, you have a great chance to rank on local search...

Try to do the reverse way, like getting more links from U.S. Websites!
