I have added a link to the bottom of my article like <a target=href="http://www.myurl.com">debt relief plan tips But I noticed that the above link turned out to be nofollow automatically as shown in the following format. debt relief plan tips Have you any idea on it? Can we no longer expect dofollow link from ezinearticles? Thanks Monsur |

maybe cuz its not in your resource box? or does bottom of the article refer to resource box... if you just put it down there, maybe you should check out their terms of use. if it is the resource box, send them a message via the internal system (don't send an email directly from your inbox, they take ages to reply..god). cheers prashant |

That's really interesting... I just went to EA and it looks like the links are clearly dofollow still... Did you say this link is in your resource box area? And is this the only link you have in the article? |

| Senior Warrior Member War Room Member | This is at the bottom of my article. There are two links allowed to use per article -one link is at the bottom of article and the other is at the resource box.The link added to the article seems to be nofollow. Any idea?

Actually you can have 4 links in your article according to EZAs TOS. 2 links can be in your article body but they must be non-self serving (meaning thay can't link back to a site you own) and must link to sites that enhance your article content. The 2 remaining links are for your resource box and can link to your site(s). You can actually have one of those link in your article but it must be below the fold, usually in the last paragraph of the article. In fact, some article marketers use the last paragraph of their article as part of their resource box. Tim |

I submitted a few articles last week and had URLs in my resource box. They're still dofollow.

This is something I noticed recently (I have not been at this so long though). Checking backlinks on sites that I have Ezine articles linked to (I put all links in the resources box) some do not show any backlinks even though some of the articles have probably been on Ezine for a couple of months now. What gives? It also seems like Google gives a lower link count than Yahoo does too.. |
