It is Twitter for me. I don't use it to make friends though, I use it to drive traffic and generate sales. Most people think these things are there to connect with long-lost friends. If you come to think of it, yes, this was the main idea, but for me they're great tools for making money online.

Twitter is great if you have followers.

Twitter is easier for getting your information out there. Twitter has a search engine so make sure you use good keywords in your tweet and people will find you and might even follow you.

At first, twitter worked wonders for me, at driving traffic to my blog, but now I'm getting more traffic from Facebook. So really, there is no better one, It really depends on what works best for you.

Can someone explain how to use Twitter to generate traffic and sales? What do you essentially do? Just send out tweets with your keywords and a link to your landing page in them?
My question is how will people find you to follow?

I like twitter to generate traffic to site. You use a bit.ly. But you need to follow the people that might be interested in what you have to offer. In search,type in key words. Also you might want to get an autofollow program so you don't have to always send feed back messages manually. And it will also send direct messages to your followers.Hope this helps.

I cant say whats more powerful. But it depends on the way we use.
However I prefer twitter because of the ease of promotion on twitter.

Thank you! Man, I just did a search on the niche I'm marketing and there are tons of Tweets on the same product I'm promoting. How in the world will Twitter benefit from all of the competition. Wow!

Neither, IMHO they are a complete waste of time. Stay away from them and concentrate on things that will make you Money and build a long term, viable business not centerd around this crap !!

Personally I use both. At the moment I mainly use Twitter for marketing and business, and Facebook for friends and games.

As for me I prefer Facebook. Upon using facebook I can used many applications. One of the most outstanding applications that I like about Facebook is the games most especially the farm town and pet society.
