Local Google Geo Results...How do I show up?

Looking for advice on how to show up in my local google search results. I've heard a little about this, but haven't had any experience with google's local geo natural results.

Not concerned with ppc geo results....just the natural/organic results.

Again, looking for any advice on how to show up in my local area for various keywords and phrases.

Hello elvis77,
The first thing to do is to get listed in google maps. It is very easy to do, just apply for the service. It is free. It just takes a couple of weeks because they need to send you a validation code by mail.

If you want to appear in organic searches, you need to optimize your site for relevant keywords but for that you have to do some SEO! Fortunatly it is much easier to get ranked locally than on a national or international level.
