What is best Niche Research and Spy software?

Looking for some good market niche software that one might use BEFORE entering into a market to determine demand ansd potential of a business or product. I have used keyword niche tools like Micro Niche finder, Mkt Samarui but maybe there are some tools that provide a higher level of market demand instaed of just keywrod analysis. For example, if I have a client that wants to open a speciality gift basket business in Boston, what is the global and local demand for such a business or product line?
How xan a benchmark be generated for his business idea?

And, also competitor Spyware liek Spyfu. Prefer free or low cost tools, unlike for example Compete which si too costly.

definitely recommend a combination of Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai.

I recommend MNF but in all honesty, I have stopped using it completely.

I have just learnt what niches work, how to make them rank and research. For my last 10 sites, I did not use MNF at all and they are all top 10.

My advice: buy MNF, learn what it does and implement strategies that you find in WF.

As I mentioned in original post, I already use MNF and Market Samarui. Was looking for other high level tools to ANALYZE market niches. What is WF ?
