How many Adsense ads?

I was just wondering how many adsense adds you are allowed per page?

I had seen a WP plugin that suggested it was only 3.

From what I understand it's this:
3 ad units
1 link unit
2 adsense for search bars

But although you can put 3 ad units, try not to put all three on one page. You will get higher CPC if you have less than 3 shown.

If I'm not mistaken, it's 3 ad units, 3 link unit, and 2 adsense search (I think no people will put more than 1 adsense search bar in a page?) in a single page..

Maximize the number of ad unit doesn't mean you will make more money, sometimes less equal to more earning.

i agree always rotate your ads around to see where you get the highest click rate

I have seen more than one successful AdSense earner recommend only putting ONE ad unit on the page. That would have only the highest-paying advertisers showing.

You dont want to put too many on there, if anything, a max of 2, otherwise, the higher the impressions you get, the less you get paid.

Absolutely, and also leave default colors of ads, my advice, i have not so many success with some another colors and believe me i tried a lot
