How do i know if my page is indexed?

i bookmark the page with about 15 websites like Digg




i did that before with other pages, and they show fine on market samurai as indexed.

so my question, this page shows as Not Indexed, on google.

whats going on? will the page not be indexed at all?

its been around 1 month for this page, other pages got indexed in 1 week or less.

go to google.

type site:yoursite.com

if nothing is found, it means u are not indexed. install google webmaster tool, and it will show when it is indexed.

I'm having issues with blogspot not being indexed either (and all the other backlinks are indexed already), just be patient and it will show up eventually

Normally it takes about 1 week for Google to index a site. My last site to go live was indexed in 8 days. You can go to Google and type in site: followed by your url.

If Google has not yet indexed it, will tell you it did not match any documents. If it has been indexed by Google, it will return hits for each page it has indexed. Hope this helps.

my last site only took around 5 days to be indexed..... as it says above, type site:yoururl into the google search box and hit go, as soon as you see a result returned you are indexed

well i did
i put site: mydomain.com/page1.html

and i get results of pages of my site but not "page1"

so how can i tell that page has been banned or something?

Give Google some times to crawl your page, perhaps Google don't like the way you name your page, says "page1.html"? If the page is important for you, try to do some article marketing, says article submission to EzineArticles or GoArticles, with your link in the article, I believe that your page will be indexed shortly.

How's your internal link structure? Is the page accessible with standard navigation? Have you tried submitting your site to social bookmarking sites?

Can you find your url in Google, if so, your page is index. Else, just keep building more backlinks to it.

Google give backlinks a lot of weight, even duplicated content on different domain will show on the same page, if you have enough backlinks!

If you go to Google and type in your url in the address bar and it comes back that means you have been indexed, if it isn't there you haven't, hope that helps
