Cool Trick To Getting Your Own High PR Site

I've got a really cool trick to building a webpage with very high PR that I can post links to allllllllll day long!

We've all heard of twitter. We've overheard about twitter, but there's a way that we can use twitter to build high PR backlinks.

What I did was setup a twitter account. I did this about 9 months back. Then I started to post information about Wordpress as I really enjoy working with it.

Did take me long to start connecting with other Internet marketers who also were interested in wordpress.

I also helped things along by looking for like minded people with a lot of followers. I then followed their followerers.

Well, the rest is history. I kept submitting the odd post with links to my sites. I made sure that most of my posts were informational in nature!!!! Very important!!!

Well, rock on over to my account on twitter: Frank Thomas (fthomas137) on Twitter and you'll see that my twitter page is a PR5 site.

I just checked my twitter profile "jasonanderson" and found that I too have a PR 5 profile. However, I'm not sure how valuable that really is or hard it really is to accomplish.

hmm I had set up a bunch of twitter accounts to post @shawncmason and within a month I had that account to pr4 then I started looking at my other accounts..

Shawn Mason (starcraftreport) on Twitter is pr 5 and only a month old o_O
Shawn Mason (petsrthebest) on Twitter is 5 and it's one of the ones posting @ me all day..
Shawn Mason (nutritiondiet) on Twitter is 5 as well..
WoW Report (wowintell) on Twitter is 4..
then I have a few hanging at 0..

Seems easy to get high PR twitter pages just feeding them content.

Excellent! I'm not sure how great it is, but if there is any truth in the link juice theory, then having a high PR page pointing to your pages has gotta help somewhat.

And thanks Shawn for your comment. I then have to agree on the feeding of content has gotta help!

Some of my mentors have zip in the way of PR on their twitter page, but they used it mainly as an advertising medium and not an information medium.

I went over to the link but it came up as no page rank registered.

The 119 links into your twitter page probably have more to do with it than the number of tweets :0 The links are nofollow as well. Though they still provide relevant links back to your page and I am sure Google indexes them since they love current information. You can also use Linkedin.com to do the same thing.

getting PR on twitter is easy as the content is good ...i do have a PR of 5

It's good but means nothing, because of the nofollow tags.

The high PR is simply because Twitter is such a powerful site, so its passing Linkjuice downwards like mad.

Thanks for pointing this out. I just checked my profile (shredderpedia) and apparently have a PR9!!! And yes, I do follow everyone back (eventually).

My personal home page on My Yahoo also has a PR9, however the same thing on My Yahoo7 (the Aussie equivalent) has "only" a PR6. I have the Yahoo version set up to pull in RSS feeds from all my sites.

It has to be said though that the effect from Twitter and Yahoo has been minimal, but still noticeable.

UPDATE

My Twitter "homepage has the PR9, however my "profile" page is PR5.
