Hey Brad,

I would recommend the All in One SEO Pack. It comes with loads of SEO features.

The two that come up most often are All in One SEO Pack and Platinum SEO Pack. The Platinum plugin has more options, but I think it leaves a link to the authors site, although I could be mistaken and it was only on the plugin page.

"All in one" seems to work fairly well and gives a lot of options.
I had to modify a couple of templates for this as it would give double Description tags for those templates.
Most templates seemed to work fine with it though.

Thesis is a theme that when combined with OpenHook provides everything you need to optimize your site for the Search Engines. It is a paid theme so I should really be sending you an affiliate link, but actually if you are interested you can let me know and I'll give you a bonus of half my commission. When I got the developer version it was $97 I think.

All In One Seo Pack is the best but i recommend editing your template instead, to make it seo friendly.

All in one SEO is good, but Platinum SEO Pack allows you to specify page meta tags on a page basis.

So if you want a specific page to be noindex, nofollow or add a page description, you can do this with Platinum SEO pack because it creates its own box within the editor screen where you can specify the SEO stuff (header title, page description, index, tags, etc) for that page.

Brad...

I really recommend getting the Thesis theme for your blog - assuming it's not already all custom done.

It takes care of every aspect of SEO properly. Unlike most plugins.

...Thesis + Keyword Elite 2.0 = Money

Almost, I guess what Platinum SEO has over ALLinOne is the meta index tags, and the noarchive option.

Here's a snapshot of the differece and the options one has over the other:

I was coming here to suggest All In One SEO. It is pretty solid and I like it a lot but these meta tag options on a page by page level really seems enticing.
I guess I ahve to give Platinum SEO a try, although I am currently comfortable with ALL in One Seo.

Btw, does platinum SEO provide any internal linking option?
I am currently using another plugin to do the internal linking for select keywords.

Platinum SEO all the way. It allows you to easily Add index, noindex, follow or nofollow, noarchive, nosnippet, noodp, noydir meta tags to any post/page and it handles all changes you make in a permalink by automatically doing 301 redirects

P.S. If you found my post useful, please click the "Thanks" button below...
