I am like in 5 forums... But I visit two everyday... the rest once in a while. It all depends on your marketing strategy and the ROI compared to other thins. I know people who visit like 10 forums and post in each every single day.. lol

There are enough forums out there that fit a persons interest. Why make it a chore when you can be involved in them for real and get your links all the same.

You can be in as many forums as you like. Just remember to follow the rules and post useful threads/replies only to prevent you from getting banned.

thanks for the replies, guys I am trying to keep the forums I use relevant and dropping good conversation rather than just saying stuff like "great post" all the time so that my link is shown. I currently post on 3 but am thinking on a couple more, and along with blog commenting am hoping to build up visitors to my site (have had 19 in around 10 days..... small steps at first then onto bigger things!!)

It all really depends on how much time you have. Try and be a regular on a few forums and build out from there.
