Page Is Indexed In Google But Not Home Page?

The thing that's odd about this is that the home page used to be indexed and was ranking in Google, and the past couple of weeks I haven't been sure what to do with it so at first i had it as a static page. Then I turned it into a wordpress blog and have been adding and deleting stuff at random, so every time Google would crawl it there would be something completely different there.

But now I know exactly what I want to do with the site, but only one page of my entire site is indexed and the home page isn't indexed anymore.

I went ahead and added a post to the wordpress blog and then dugg it to get it reindexed but that didn't work.

Should I just go ahead and work on the site and start building backlinks and then Google will eventually reindex the site?

My home page is indexed......but the other pages are not indexed.
example: Natas Production Extreme Metal Mailorder ....is indexed.

but Affiliate Marketing Tips - Marketing Tips To Help You Make More Money! ....is not indexed....

only the home page is. no sub pages are indexed at all....can not figure out why.

That's because Google has not found your sub pages yet. You need to get some backlinks to the subpages so Google will find them.

My problem is that Google already had my home page indexed but then dropped it, all I'm showing now is one page.

I found out that the site is 4 and a half months old if that helps at all.

I would just like to know if anyone has seen something like this before and if it's likely that my home page will get re-indexed if I start to build a blog out of it.

I don't want to start building it up on this site if Google has like banned my domain or something for some unknown reason even though I've done nothing wrong.

make some good backlink , google will index your website sooner or later , no need to worry

I just found out like 20 minutes ago that it was actually because the new wordpress update automatically sets the privacy to block search engines from crawling the site. So that's why my site got deindexed.

Not sure why wordpress did that, that was so "stupid", almost everyone need to be index by Google!
